Pentonville prison convict Book is back and being portrayed by Brad Schmidt.
Pentonville is quite the social event this summer as many Port Charles residents are either incarcerated there, or just stopping by for a friendly visit.
Fans last saw inmate Book in 2022, the same year Schmidt filled in for a time for Johnny Wactor as Brando Corbin.

Molly Lansing-Davis is now being played by Brooke Anne Smith who fans first saw last week. Smith’s credits include Tyler Perry’s Too Close To Home and MTV’s Awkward.
Prior to this the character was temporarily played by Holiday Mia Kriegel.
GH spoilers: The week of July 24, 2023 Brings a Legacy Recast
Kriegel stepped in as Molly, Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter, in May. The recast came after the actress who played the character since 2009 was involved in a legal matter and subsequently entered rehab.
Hayley Pullos caused a DUI freeway collision on an LA freeway. She had to be freed from the wreckage with the jaws of life and it was reported that she screamed at a fireman who she accused of ruining her expensive blouse.
Pullos was subsequently charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run.
GH spoilers: What Happens in Port Charles The week of July 24, 2023?
The recast comes at a pivotal time in Molly’s life. She and her husband TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) have discovered that she cannot carry a baby, and her sister Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) offered to be her surrogate.
Even before any decision has been made about this potential situation, Kristina and Molly have gone at it. Both are highly emotional and the sisters clash like fire and rain. Expect much more drama for Molly in the days and weeks to come as this plot continues to simmer on the front burner.
