General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates tease that Ryan Paevey was a model before he landed his first acting gig. The actor shared that he had some regrets, especially his early shoots.
Paevey was known as Nathan West at General Hospital. It was his first big break in TV back in 2013. He played the part until 2018 and after his exit, he landed several projects, including a multi-film contract with Hallmark Channel.
But before all that, the actor was once a model. He didn’t always want to join the entertainment industry. He was happy helping his family with their construction business.
With his charms and looks, he was destined to be in front of the camera. He appeared in music videos and even played Robin Thicke’s body double in the Sex Therapy music video.
What Were Paevey’s Regrets?
In an interview with SheKnows, the actor said that there were some shoots that he wasn’t proud of.
“Man, there are a ton of pictures of me accessible to anyone who can use Google that I wish I hadn’t shot, it’s hard to choose just one,” he said.
“The images that came of it seem really seedy, and kind of gross to me now. But, I was working a ton of odd jobs at the time, and it seemed harmless enough for the money, so there it is,” he added.
Paevey Works As A Jewelry Designer
Aside from being an actor, Paevey is also a jewelry designer. He sells his personally crafted jewelry through his website, Fortunate Wanderer. He sells rings, cuffs, beads, and pendants.
In an interview with Soaps in Depth, he said, “I used to make simple braided bracelets.”
“They were just little things for myself — nothing that would catch someone’s eye. But we’d do meet-and-greet events all over the country, and people would comment, so I would just take them off my wrist, give them to people and tell them where the bracelets had traveled with me,” he continued.
Paevey Hints Future At Hallmark
For those who are wondering if Paevey is leaving Hallmark, the answer is he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. In May 2022, he signed a multi-picture deal with Hallmark, and the network execs are happy to work with him.
The actor’s latest movies include Two Tickets to Paradise, where he stars with Ashley Williams.
