General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates tease that Johnny Wactor has landed a new gig. The actor, who played the role of Brando Corbin, is set to appear in Supercell.
The epic disaster film is set to premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California this weekend. The film is written and directed by Jamie Winterstern. Other cast members include Alec Baldwin and the late Anne Heche.
Supercell, which was filmed between May and June 2021 in Georgia and Montana, focuses on the story of William, a teenager who wishes to be a storm chaser just like his late father, Bill Brody.
Bill was killed by a massive super tornado. After his passing, his legacy has turned into a tourist business, which is now run by Zane Rogers. He uses William to help tourists experience what it’s like to be a storm chaser.
Zane is played by Baldwin, Daniel Demer as William, Heche as Quinn, and Wactor as Martin.
Winterstern Opens Up About The Movie Concept
Winterstern opened up about the concept of the movie, which was born when he went storm chasing with the former General Hospital star.
“Three years ago, I went storm chasing with Johnny, and it dawned on me that we haven’t had a movie like Twister since, well Twister,” he shared.
“So Anna Elizabeth James and I wrote a script, but if I was going to direct this as my first feature, I needed to create something else,” she continued.
The filmmaker returned to Oklahoma’s “tornado valley” area to capture videos that he could use as proof of concept, which would show the investors what the final film would look like.
He managed to get the footage he needed with the help of Wactor, a storm-chasing expedition company called Tempest Tours, and storm chaser Val Castor.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is now in possession of the mystery box that contains Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) personal effects. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) joins her in her hotel suite to help her decide what to do with it.
Britt is initially tempted to just discard it all without knowing what’s inside, but Cody points out that she’ll never know what she’ll find. As they discuss the pros and cons of opening the box, the pair may be tempted to share some passionate moments.
Britt and Cody share an unexpected spark, and they may give in to their desires, especially with the hotel bed right next to them. But does Cody have Britt’s welfare in mind, or does he have any ulterior motive?
