Chris McKenna Shares Adorable Video Of Son Spencer

Chris McKenna, who plays Jack Brennan on General Hospital (GH), shared an adorable reel on social media on Friday, and ABC daytime soap fans absolutely loved it. Read on to find out more about the sweet moment that got everyone smiling.

GH fans couldn’t help but smile when they saw the reel that Chris shared on Instagram ahead of the weekend. While it wasn’t about the show, everyone loved seeing the popular WSB character live his real life away from the cameras. This time, it was all about his little boy, Spencer.

For those who may need a reminder, Chris and his wife, Lovisa, welcomed their son in July of 2024. That means Spencer ‘s nearly two years old now. And, like any toddler his age, he is busy testing his limits and exploring the world around him.

In the adorable reel, Chris McKenna placed his son on a small picnic table. Then, little Spencer made an effort  to jump into his dad’s waiting arms.

Learning To Trust

It took the reassuring grip of dad’s hands to help him feel brave, but eventually, he took the leap and jumped. Naturally, the real-life Jack Brennan was right there to make sure Spencer never hurt himself during the playful moment.

In his caption, the General Hospital star wrote: “This was the very first time he ever tried to jump.”

Of course, anyone with little kids around could appreciate the the moment.

Recently, Chris McKenna opened up to Maurice Benard on the popular State of Mind podcast and revealed that he too received a bipolar diagnosis. So, seeing him so joyfully in love with his family seems very special for fans.

Actually, it seems that Maurice also finds a lot of joy spending time with his own kids and grandchildren.

Spencer is still so little, so hopefully, dad and son get to spend many more years together as the little guy explores the wonderful world we live in.

Time passes by so quickly. In the blink of an eye, Spencer will probably be off to high school, and these precious moments will become cherished memories.
