General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha’s life still sustaining one gut punch after another. Even if Brando Corbin lives, she is still under his guardianship, or will he become incapacitated and unable to care for her?
General Hospital’s Sasha Suffers And Suffers
When Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) first arrived in Port Charles, she was the woman Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) paid to pose as Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter just so he could show Nina that he found her child. He knew she would be grateful and take him back and that is just what she did. However, Sasha grew to love Nina and felt guilty for what she was doing.
Before Nina even learned Sasha was not her child, Sasha was already paying penance for her deceit after Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) poisoned her when she was on vacation with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Sasha survived being poisoned, but things went seriously south for her after Nina rejected her upon learning the truth.
Sasha’s Heart Attack And Drug Addiction
An addled Sasha turned to drugs when she was kicked out of Nina’s life and became The Face of Deception. The drugs helped her handle it all, but when she took laced drugs from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), she suffered a heart attack and almost died.
But the bright side is that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) rescued her and helped her put her life back together. A one-night stand led to a surprise pregnancy and the idea of a happy life with Brando. Then, Dead Baby Christmas happened and Sasha’s son was born deprived of oxygen and didn’t make it.
What More Can Happen To Sasha?
GH wasn’t done with Sasha yet. Her grief caused her to turn to drugs again, get caught with the drugs by the paparazzi, and a chase led to Sasha running down Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) with her car and killing her. Then, a TV appearance in which she was forced to model a baby carrier caused Sasha to imagine her dead baby on live television.
As if that wasn’t enough, report Grant Smoltz (David Lautman) egged her on enough to bust his windshield. Later, she busted another man’s phone, and now she has lost her job and is under a conservatorship run by her husband who has just been stabbed.
