General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in the runup to Christmas, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has plenty to fret worry about as the grinches gang up on her. Her preliminary hearing starts the week of December 20-24 and legal eagle Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has to bring his A game to compete against the likes of certain Corinthi who wish to see her punished for keeping Papa Don from them. Oh if they only knew the true extent of the tie between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina!

Explosive show spoilers reveal that while the charge against her is slightly absurd, Scott is worried going into the trial.
Scotty is not one for self doubt, so if he’s nervous, Nina better find a tailor who does prison stripes.

General Hospital spoilers: Nina Reeves Is a Blond Deceiver

This is because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is the one who brought charges and he’s acting a lot like a mini-mobster these days. Does he have what it takes to take over for Sonny when he inevitably ditches the kingdom for a 9-5 job and playing house with Nina?

Sonny might be the one capable of negating any negativity coming Nina’s way. Michael may have the judge in his pocket, but Sonny has a lifetime of backroom dealings so trumping his mini-me would be a piece of cake. The question is how far is Sonny willing to go to defend Nina without revealing that they were in love back in Hooterville?

That may be a moot point as snoopy Weeping Willow Tait (Katelynn MacMullen) now knows about their love affair. So, it looks like for once it will be the truth that justice hinges on!

Back in the courtroom look for Scott to also be sweating bullets over the fact that his apple dumpling Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is pressuring him to #FreeNina.

Fans should not be surprised if somehow, some way, Sonny plays a key role in getting Nina to walk Scot free. The kicker is, will it be at the expense of his and Nina’s secret? Either way, Michael and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be staring daggers if and when Nina walks out of court a free woman. In that case Nina may wish she was safely ensconced in a jail cell.

Without giving away too much we can tell you that Sonny will indeed take the stand, but will he take the fifth? Stunning spoilers reveal that the coffee importer might tell the judge that he doesn’t feel like he was the victim of a crime at Nina’s hands, which is what the case hinges on. Oy vey.
