GH Fans Giggle Over Katelyn MacMullen & Rory Gibson Comment

Katelyn MacMullen, who plays the role of Willow Tate on General Hospital (GH), got ABC daytime fans giggling over Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) on Tuesday. Read on to find out why.

Rory’s Headshot Post

Rory Gibson took to his Instagram account this week and shared a headshot photo taken by the General Hospital promo department. In it, he wore a white T-shirt, a light day-old beard, and what some fans thought were dreamy eyes.

He’s married now, and he and Alicia Ruelas tied the knot about three months ago. Still, that didn’t stop GH fans from enjoying what they could see.

In his caption, he only credited ABC and “The Prospect Studios.” No other words needed, apparently.

Anyway, Jonathan Bennett appeared in the comments and said, “Detective Fitzpatrick needs new headshots too. 😂”

Katelyn Gets The Quips Going

It was Katelyn MacMullen who got the conversation going in a whole new direction when she dropped her comment. In it, she said, “Looks like my ex husband 👏.”

GH actress Kristen Vaganos, who plays Michael’s cousin Molly, replied to Katelyn MacMullen, saying:

@katey_macmullen looks like my next husband #notbyblood #peoplearegonnagocrazy.

Fans Join In The Banter

General Hospital fans love to engage with their favorite stars, and what Katelyn and Kristen said got a lot of responses.

One person said, “@kvaganos That would be interesting. I could get behind that.”

And another one said to Katelyn, “@katey_macmullen and your next lover 😈 #ReuniteMillow.”

Here are a few more responses from the discussion about Rory Gibson:

• “@katey_macmullen ahem, but wasn’t your actual husband more of a sandy blond and much taller?”
• “@katey_macmullen I feel a #millow reunion coming up 😏🤗”
• “@kvaganos GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT.”

How Did Rory React?

When Gibson saw that Katelyn MacMullen had said he looks like her ex, he replied, and he didn’t seem upset at all. Instead, he posted up a winking face emoji.

Plenty of ABC fans think that Rory’s a sweet bit of eye candy, and one person opined, “My fav from the jump! When he walked into the Nurses Ball in that tuxedo to get Wiley I almost fell over! Hot!!”

Rory became popular with fans very quickly when he took over the role of Michael Corinthos from Chad Duell last year. Despite Vaganos joking about Rory, on the daytime soap, she’s actually sweet on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) at the moment.
