General Hospital Has This ‘Major Problem’ On The Soap Right Now
Apparently, many viewers believe that General Hospital has an “unlikeable character” issue, if that makes much sense.
That’s because according to many critics, there are entirely too many unlikeable characters on this show right now. And we are not just talking about villains, but antagonists, too.
Because let’s face it, would anyone really want to hang out with Chase, Joss, Willow, Emma, Trina, Drew, Curtis, Nina or Portia in real life? Probably not.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “The writers need to stop adding new characters and give the current characters some meet. They ruined some great storylines. Molly is a drip, Cody and Sasha were great until they made them cousins. What happened to Brooklyn? Tough as nails became soupy.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “And all the righteous characters that can’t pass their own rules – Curtis, Chase, etc. Olivia could use a little meat, Carly & Valentine have chemistry and need a better story. Justine is the only character that is a complex hypocrite that struggles with her righteousness — the most interesting at the moment.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Carly was judgmental and hypocritical for decades, but she was at least interesting to watch. She had some likable qualities and the audience understood what drove her. She was a popular character.”
“Trina, for example, has zero self-awareness. She’s crapping all over Brooklyn for not coming clean about a non-crime.”
So far the producers of the soap have not made any comments about the criticism they’ve received just yet.
