In his mind, Dante posed a significant threat to their happiness. Ric insisted to Sonny that Liz was worth the risk, dismissing his friend’s concerns, and made his way to Liz’s place to propose.

That’s when Ric peeked through the window and spotted Dante without pants, while Elizabeth leaned over him; from outside, it looked suspicious.

However, at this moment, it’s doubtful  she realizes that Dante has any romantic interest in her. The question is, will Dante blindside her with his admissions, and how will she react?

Another reason Elizabeth might break up with Ric soon is the rumor of a reunion between Ric and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn); many fans would love to see them back together.

Meanwhile, Dante and Elizabeth already have their own fan base as a couple, and at this point, it seems unlikely that Ric and Elizabeth will last. We all knew Ric would eventually mess things up-the signs were clear when they started pairing Dante and Elizabeth in scenes together.

We can hope Ric doesn’t ruin the relationship he worked hard to rebuild with Sonny; he’ll understand Ric’s worries about Dante being close to Elizabeth. But he won’t accept any aggressive moves from Ric against Dante, so Ric might have wasted his money on that diamond ring!
