Steve Burton’s Wife Flips Viral Trend With A Romantic Twist
Michelle Lundstrom puts a romantic spin on a viral trend and says why husband Steve Burton always comes through for her.
General Hospital (GH) star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and his wife, Michelle Lundstrom, often trend on social media, but this week, Michelle stepped outside of a current trend, turned it around, and found a lot of positive responses.
The Trend
On Instagram, Michelle shared a reel that opened with a photo of herself before cutting to a scene from the ABC soap.
The text with her photo said, “No one is coming to save you,” and the line in the reel said, “But my husband is coming. No matter what.”
If you haven’t heard about the “No One Is Coming to Save You” trend, it’s gone viral on Instagram and TikTok.
Campus Times explains that life isn’t always easy, but “At the end of the day, you have to realize that you are responsible for your own life and outcomes. Nobody is coming to save you. You have to learn to save yourself.”
Often Amusing
The trends on social media are often very funny, but Michelle said it also made her consider how true those words were in her own life.
She added, “My husband has changed my life and saved me in more ways than one, over and over again,” and continued by saying, “He’s one of the most compassionate, caring, and genuinely good men I’ve ever known.”
Steve Shows Up
She paused a bit and emphasized every word: “He shows up. Every. Single. Time.”
Then Michelle continued praising Steve Burton by saying, “Even if he had to walk across broken glass that was on fire with charcoal underneath it, somehow, he’d still find a way to get to me.”
She also told General Hospital followers that “There’s really no better feeling than knowing you have someone who will always be there, someone who makes you feel cared for, protected, and completely safe, no matter what.”
Looking back at everything they’ve shared, she added, “I’m incredibly grateful for him, for the man he is, and for the life we’ve built together.”
