General Hospital Maurice Benard Delights Fans With Joyful Dance Reel
Maurice Benard shared a cheerful behind-the-scenes reel from the General Hospital set, dancing with a passerby and spreading smiles.
On Friday, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) spread spread plenty of good cheer around the set and General Hospital (GH) fans saw a reel that he posted on social media. Read on for more details.
The Reel Was A Happy One
When Maurice shared his Instagram reel, it showed him in his dressing room. The clock said it was ten minutes to six, and someone wandered along and peeked in the door. As soon as she did, the real-life Sonny broke into a broad smile and walked over to her.
The reel appeared to capture the dressing room audio rather than added music, with the Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing” playing loudly in the background.”
Maybe that’s what got her attention. The woman appeared to be wearing a face mask, making it difficult for fans to identify her.
One commenter wondered whether she was a member of ABC’s security team, but the actor did not identify her or respond to the speculation. Whoever she was, she quickly joined in the fun.
Maurice gestured over to her, dancing and encouraging her to join him. In his caption, the GH veteran wrote, “She was such a sweetheart to dance with me. Everybody at @generalhospitalabc is like a family.”
Even someone passing in the hallway couldn’t resist doing a quick hop and skip. Clearly, his music was appreciated by everyone in the area.
