General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Shocking Offer Puts Chase’s Badge on the Line
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make an offer to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) this week on the ABC soap.
Coming back to work and getting into the thick of things again, might she offer him to advance back to Detective-albeit under probation?
The PCPD Is A Little Shorthanded
The Port Charles Police Department is a little shorthanded, even though a new detective has been hired-and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) hasn’t quite returned to detective work yet.
So, Anna decides to promote Chase back to detective so he can help clear out the boatload of cases they have. But, there is one caveat-he will be closely supervised by Dante, and under probation.
Right now, there are no active cases against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen); but if there were to be, Chase has to stay far away from them as before. Otherwise he is under threat of being dismissed entirely, and he certainly doesn’t want that!
Anna’s Got A Lot Of Catching Up To Do
Anna’s got a lot of catching up to do, and is aware that Fake Nathan West-Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) probably is the reason for some case files missing-or altered.
But she’s not just concentrating on unsolved cases, she’s also focusing on some newer ones-including one that hits too close to Dante himself!
She had Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) literally cover the table in the interrogation room with boxes of files, looking through them for that one-Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) shot on Pier 55.
But there are others as well, that need attention so she’ll pore through them all-she needs to know what’s going on with the crimes in Port Charles herself.
The main baddie that needs to be dispensed with by the long arm of justice is Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and so she’s boning up on his activities since he came to Port Charles.
Chase Is Happy To Be Promoted Again
Chase, of course, is happy to be promoted again, and he won’t be doing any rogue investigations on his own like he previously did.
He’ll be under tight supervision, and that will probably be for at least a few months until trust is built up again and he’s proved himself. It will kind of be like being a rookie all over again but once he gets through it, it will be worth it.
With being promoted back to detective his pay will increase, and that is always a good thing. And even more so now, with a baby in their family, and who knows-maybe their own place?
