General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn’s Apology Was A Lie – Willow Walks Straight Into Her Trap?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) will apologize and blindside Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) this week on the ABC soap.
But is Brook Lynn sincere about her apology, or is it really a trap?
Brook Lynn Asked Lucy Coe To Be Her Ally
GH fans will remember last week that Brook Lynn asked Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to be her ally, telling her that someone was after her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Lucy agreed to help her, although their plot wasn’t revealed quite yet-but she gave her some sound advice about cheating partners, having had life experience on both ends of the subject.
Previously, Brook Lynn had found Chase with a gift for Willow at her and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house, where she’d also brought a thank you gift.
The thank you gift was appreciation for Willow pulling her congressional strings to help them be able to adopt baby Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
But after Chase left, Brook Lynn stayed behind, to give Willow an extra-large piece of her mind, and told her to not even breathe on her husband, or she’d ruin her!
Keeping The Peace To Win The War?
Brook Lynn may be keeping the peace to win the war over Willow, also known as a sneak attack; she doesn’t want Willow to think she’s suspicious in the least-therefore, the apology.
If Willow doesn’t know or suspect that anyone’s keeping an eye on her around Chase, she won’t act any different to hide her true motivations and feelings-and neither will he!
That’s because Brook Lynn will make her apology to Willow right in front of Chase, so he won’t suspect she’s laying a trap for Willow either.
Of course, what Brook Lynn doesn’t realize is the effort that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is putting into driving Chase and Willow into an affair, and that will continue!
The Perfect Storm
With Michael pushing Chase and Willow together and Brook Lynn laying a trap for Willow with Lucy’s help, everything is swirling into the perfect storm!
If what Brook Lynn thinks is going to happen does happen, even though she really, really wants to trust her husband, she can see he’s drawn to Willow like a moth to a flame.
If Brook Lynn can trap Willow into doing what she believes she’s going to do, then she can use it to create a scandal that will lose Willow everything!
Brook Lynn may not intend to ruin her in the way that Michael does, doing different things to create the same outcome, and she doesn’t want to lose her husband.
But at the very least, perhaps she can get through to Chase and open his eyes to what Willow really is and what she’s really trying to do, although he’s in some pretty strong denial!
