Maurice Benard, beloved by General Hospital (GH) fans, has some critics, and one in particular tends to repeatedly give him the cold shoulder. This week, the real-life Sonny Corinthos from the ABC daytime drama couldn’t help but show his pain. Read on to find out more.
Rejection Hurts
It’s not the first time that Maurice revealed how sensitive he feels to being rejected. Back in late November last year, he got the cold shoulder from his grandson, Milo. They’d been out for dinner, and when the kid threw food on the floor, it irritated his grandpa.
Well clearly, that annoyed little Milo, because the General Hospital star coped with being ignored for the rest of the meal. And now, he’s being ignored again. Funnily enough, this also has something to do with food. But it’s not Milo this time.
The Latest Rejection
A few days ago, Maurice took to his Instagram account and shared a reel with his fans. This time, it was Buddy the Goat who gave him the cold shoulder. Now remember, the real-life Sonny Corinthos is a softie, and he adores his little goat.
But, it seems that goats can be real divas. Back in 2021, Soaps She Knows reported that no-speaks happened because he fed the cute furbaby a bit late. And now, Buddy’s got another grudge.
Whast Happened
In his latest post, Maurice Benard explained to his General Hospital fans that he yelled at Buddy. Why? Well, that doesn’t matter, but it involved the goat doing something he shouldn’t have done. And, it seems it involved food.
In his reel the GH star told his ABC fans that Buddy went off, next to rocks, dug around a bit, curled up, and refused to interact.
“Is that how it’s gonna be?” Maurice Benard asked the immobile goat with downturned ears and back steadily turned toward the crime boss.
Yep, it sure seems like the dog box might be a more welcoming place for Maurice. Clearly begging for forgiveness for yelling at a goat is not gonna change anything soon.
