Cameron Mathison Honors Son Lucas In Charming New Update
Cameron, who acts as Drew Cain on GH seems to be very proud of his son, Lucas.
General Hospital (GH) star Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) sometimes shares photos of his kids, and this week, he shouted out his son Lucas. Certainly, from the tone of his post, he feels extremely proud of him. The last time he posted about Lucas and his sister, Leila, they’d been on vacation in the Edwards area in Colorado. Two Nice Kids
Vanessa Mathison and Cameron don’t live together anymore, but she remains active on social media. Lucas and Leila, the two kids she shares with Cameron Mathison, seem like nice kids, who managed to survive the divorce well. These days, they seem to be hardworking young adults with a great attitude towards life.
In his Instagram post this week, the real-life Drew Cain posted about Lucas because he just celebrated a birthday. Actually, it’s been a week for birthday posts. Just a few days ago, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) shared that his daughter Cassidy enjoyed a birthday outing at the zoo.
The Birthday Post
The post by Cameron found a lot of traction with General Hospital fans because he shared a lot of throwback pics of his boy. Well, he’s not a little boy anymore, because he attended university in the UK. But daytime soap fans always love throwback pics.
In his caption, the proud dad said:
Watching you grow hasn’t just meant watching you succeed – it’s meant watching you become. Every obstacle you faced, every challenge you pushed through, every bet you placed on yourself paid off. Studying at Central Saint Martins in London, chasing the dream you never let go of…I couldn’t be more proud.
Not done yet, the ABC star added, “But even more than what you’ve built on the outside, it’s who you are on the inside that leaves me in awe.” Then he wished Lucas a “Happy Birthday” before telling him how much he loves him.
Certainly it seems that Cameron’s a very proud dad.

Anything off the GH set shared by ABC stars seems to please fans very much. After all, while they know the fictional characters well, it’s also nice to get to know them as real people. Then, Vanessa Mathison, the mom of Lucas posted up a line of six red heart emojis.
