General Hospital Spoilers leak Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) recently sealed the deal, and they’ve both fooled themselves into thinking the last time was the last time — for now.
Sonny has plenty of drama on his plate to distract himself from letting his mind wander into the dark corners that think back to that night at his secret apartment outside Charlie’s Bar.
As for Justine, she might struggle a bit more with figuring out how to move forward without reflecting on that shared night with Sonny and wanting…more.
One and Done
Justine seemed more than overjoyed with the idea of scratching that itch and moving on like it never happened. Finally, the pressure valve that was containing all that tension had been released.
She thought she might be able to just revel in the memory for the rest of time and never seek any kind of continued engagement with Port Charles’ most notorious crime lord, but judging from her conversation with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at the nail salon last week, it’s looking like it’s already becoming a challenge for Justine to put Sonny out of her mind.
GH Spoilers Question Who Will Cave First?
On the other hand, Sonny has been busy with his own affairs — and not that one. He’s taking a major risk in letting his brother, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), take over some of his legal issues.
He’s plotting the perfect time to strike back at Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Director Agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
He’s trying to protect his family, and he’s about to be burdened by the very real risk of his former stepdaughter — Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) — coming after him too. Sonny doesn’t seem to have as much time to ponder what if’s about his romance with Justine, at least not as much time as she does.
Yay or Nay?
While it’s looking like Justine is more likely to give into her impulses sooner than Sonny, that was already kind of a given. Sonny seemed like he knew it well in advance, too, and he won’t mind eating that up when it all plays out.
But what do the fans think? The chatter on this would-be couple has been slim, but it seems like most are neutral on this couple. Does that mean they’re not hot? Not exactly.
But it’s not what viewers are waiting on the edges of their seats for either. I’m not surprised, given how long GH took dragging this storyline out over recent months, just to have a pretty anticlimactic “ending.” It looks like the fanbase is going to need something a bit more salacious than a one-night stand off-screen for this couple to kick up dust.
