General Hospital (GH) star Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) has been around on the ABC soap since 2000, so GH fans might like her recent story that she recently posted on her social media profile. Read on for more details.
Where Was Laura In The ’90s?
Back in the good old 90s, Laura Wright already made a name for herself on TV soaps. Remember, she acted the role of Allison “Ally” Rescott on Loving. Additionally, fans saw her on All My Children, and as Cassie Layne Winslow on Guiding Light.
Since then, she primarily played her role on General Hospital very well. That meant the pics she shared on Instagram this week probably predated Carly Spencer. In it, she sat getting her hair done, while she showed her being asked what life was like back in the 1990s.
Throwback Photos
In her post, she dumped a whole bunch of old photos taken by various people, including her early headline days by other outlets. In her caption, she wrote:
I heard we’re doing the 90s??? They were the BEST.
What became evident, is that Laura seemed to have hardly changed. Okay, so her style was different, lining up with fashions at the time. But, it seemed that she always liked big hair.
One of her first co-stars to react was Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan), and he posted up a fire emoji. Then, he said, “So pretty much, same.”
Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) also reacted and she seemed excited, saying “Let’s gooo.”
Why The 1990s?
Why all this talk about the 1990s? Well, it probably originated with Chris McKenna. Per Soap Hub, he “dropped a vintage team photo on social media…nostalgia hit that makes you stop scrolling, because suddenly you’re looking at the ’90s again.”
Nevertheless, that was an old article from December. Irrespective, many fans loved the photos that Laura Wright shared.
