General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Sets Her Sights on Getting Chase Back — By Destroying Him First?
General Hospital spoilers tease Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) still doesn’t know what’s brewing with the PCPD and her ex-husband, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but I have a feeling that’s going to surface soon.
Right now, Willow is waiting anxiously to get wind of what happened when the police seized Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) keys, and she’s likely expecting him to be hauled in in connection with shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and framing her for the crime.
Little does she know, she didn’t seal Michael’s fate when she planted that key on his keychain, but Chase’s. As Chase suffers the side effects of his poor choices, will Willow use it as a means of getting her talons back into him?
That Prison Visit Said It All
Remember when Willow was in Pentonville and Chase went to see her there to update her on his rogue investigation into Drew’s shooting — and Michael’s role in it? Chase has been convinced from the very start that Willow is innocent, and the court acquitting her only reaffirmed that, emboldening him to go after Michael even harder.
Willow was keen on Chase’s visits and it was even clear to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she seemed a bit more affectionate toward him than an ex-wife typically is. Now that she has handled Drew and thinks she’s closer than ever to seeing Michael behind bars, will Willow set her sights on taking back her ex?
GH Spoilers Suggest Chase Takes the Hit
It’s not looking too good for Detective Chase right now. Given that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is currently Acting Police Commissioner, he may be tasked with letting Chase go in light of learning that he did handle Michael’s keys and then tip the police off to get a warrant for them.
Dante has already told Michael that he doesn’t believe he shot Drew, signaling that he knows something is amiss — even if he thinks that because he believes Willow is guilty. Because of her meddling, Chase is poised to take the fall for her, and if we know Willow, it’s likely she’s going to let him.
A Second Chance at Love?
Is this the way Willow and Chase reunite? Is the only way Willow can get Chase back to first use this mishap with Michael’s keys to her advantage? Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is already miffed that her hubby keeps concealing his secretive behavior — and that it continues to jeopardize his career and their family living situation.
She wants peace at the mansion, and she loves her cousin Michael. If Chase loses his job over this, he just might lose his wife, too.
