General Hospital (GH) fans know that animals play a huge part in the life of Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) from the ABC daytime soap. Well, it seems that his son, Joshua Benard (Adam Wright) also loves dogs and certainly, the feelings are reciprocated. Read on to see an incredibly tender scene.
Joshua Reveals A New Song
This weekend on Instagram Stories, Maurice shared a short reel of his son, Joshua playing a new song. Then, Joshua also shared it on his TikTok, which you can watch further down in this article.
The song, written in remembrance of losing someone seems very beautiful. And, let’s use an all-time favorite AI word: Heartfelt! Well, resting in the background was a beautiful dog. Actually, Maurice Benard has a lot of animals, and recently, Buddy the goat gatecrashed a scene with his granddaughter, TT.

Anyway, other animals like a Shih Tzu hangs with family as well, and then, there was a big pup, a Great Pyrenees named Kruiser who sadly passed away. Well, the dog in reel might have been another one name Luna. Of course, it might not be that dog, given that a variety of animals keep the real-life Sonny Corinthos in a great frame of mind.
The video that was shared was all about a new song called “Defined.” Joshua Benard explained that it’s all about losing someone. Very sad, the lyrics mentioned:

One day, Joshua promised, he’ll probably release it soon. Notably, his followers hope so, because it’s so soulful and poignant. And, genuine. In fact so genuine that the big dog moved across to offer him some comfort.
A Sweet Pup Moment
Animals seem instinctively know exactly how people feel. And, that’s probably why we call them “Man’s best friend.” Obviously, the pup has a good connection with Joshua, who’s fast becoming a talented singer. He couldn’t help but smile, as he gently tried moving the dog away.
General Hospital fans encourage Joshua to keep on making music, and they seemed to love the new one. In fact, so much so, that surprisingly no comments arrived about the dog. And that’s unusal, because folks usually react to them.
