General Hospital Spoilers: Is Britt Bound to Become Number One in Jason’s Life?
General Hospital spoilers claim Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is changing in some pretty surprising ways — and I for one am here for it! When Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) came back to life, and back in his life, things slowly shifted for Jason.
More and more, Britt impressed upon him how much she didn’t feel she could trust him. That’s not a way Jason is used to being treated.
He wanted to earn her trust again, and the very first time he had to bail on her in her time of need to go help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he realized that his doing so was going to be the nail in the coffin of his relationship with Britt.
But this week took a turn, and we’re left wondering if Jason has seen the light and is about to make a major change in his life.
Anna Isn’t First
Jason has already had to explain his relationship with Cary Spencer (Laura Wright) to Britt more times than he can count.
He wasn’t about to do that with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) too. Regardless, Anna was in trouble and Jason made a command decision not to help.
The look on Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) face when Jason said he couldn’t go to France to retrieve her was indescribable. No one is accustomed to Jason having boundaries or turning down requests for life saving help.
But if Britt learns that Jason tabled that request in her favor, it might move the needle with them enough to stem the pain the next time Carly comes first:
GH Spoilers Leak Carly Can Keep
Speaking of Carly, she’s on a back burner right now, but not because Jason put her there.
He has no idea what she’s cooking up on her corner of the stove with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and if he was, he would probably be far more preoccupied with seeing to it that her plan doesn’t succeed out of concern for her safety.
I can see Carly ending up in danger, caught between a man like Valentin and a guy like Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). It might be Jason who saves her, and it might be Britt who grows up enough to give him her permission to.
Sonny Pushes Pause
Another move Jason has made that signals Britt is becoming his priority was him going to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) figured out who firebombed his penthouse and torched Charlie’s.
WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are officially on his hit list, but not until Jason can secure those meds for Britt.
