General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Pushes Dante to Consider Michael’s Guilt, BLQ, Has A Problem

General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Pushes Dante to Consider Michael's Guilt, BLQ, Has A ProblemGeneral Hospital spoilers squeal Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has been twisting himself in knots trying to save Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) from what he believes is unjust persecution.

His relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has taken a real beating in the process, leading to Chase’s suspension from the PCPD for the time being.

But this week, previews say Chase is going to encourage Dante, and I have a sneaking suspicion he’ll be pushing him to pursue Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) as the next potential target in the investigation into who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Will Dante think twice before trusting Chase’s inclination to count his chickens before they’re hatched, and will Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) be able to overlook the way her husband sold out her family in favor of his ex-wife?

The Truth May Not Come Out

If Willow gets away with this, the investigation is likely to turn in Michael’s direction. He’s the next most likely shooter.

Dante has already turned more skeptical toward his brother, and he’s starting to wonder whether he was a fool or biased in his own way for letting the truth slip through his fingers.

If Willow is found not guilty, that’s going to reinforce Chase’s belief that he was right all along and should be vindicated where Dante is concerned.

Further, Dante will feel guilty for not trusting his partner and become convinced he himself was guilty of the bias he accused Chase of having for Willow.

GH Spoilers Suggest Chase Has a Blind Spot

The bigger question is: What will Chase do if the truth comes out that Willow did shoot Drew? This will mean his instincts were misfiring and misguided all along, and that he wanted to see the best in Willow because of his personal attachment to her.

How might that change the way Chase sees himself as a detective, and how might it change the way Dante looks at him too? Their friendship and working partnership could be in jeopardy if Chase doubles down and pushes Dante to go after his own brother this week when Willow is actually guilty as sin and Chase just can’t see it.

Brook Lynn Sees Things Clearly

Brook Lynn wasn’t happy to find out from Dante that her husband was playing part-time detective for Willow when he was off the clock.

Ultimately, she let it slide and hoped the case would play out quickly so they could get on with their lives. Every discussion about guilt led to a debate between Brook Lynn and Chase over who shot Drew — Michael or Willow.

If Brook Lynn learns Chase is trying to push Dante to go after Michael, before the verdict is even in on Willow, it’s likely to spark another level of marital dysfunction.

If the truth comes out about Willow being the culprit all along, will Brook Lynn force her husband to confront his lingering feelings for his ex-wife? Keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
