General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Gets Bad News This Week — What Now?!
General Hospital spoilers spill Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is supposed to get some pretty bad news this week, and I have an inkling that it’s going to be about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Chase has been working tirelessly to make sure Willow doesn’t take the fall for a crime she didn’t commit. Moreover, it’s a crime he believes Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is guilty of.
Without any evidence to back up his theories that Michael shot Drew, or even that Michael planted the weapon in Willow’s room at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Chase is struggling to solve this mystery and be the hero he wants to be for his ex-wife.
Meanwhile, his current wife is none too happy with his behavior, and that problem might also come home to roost this week.
Brook Lynn is Brooding
Brook Lynn might have been more understanding weeks ago when she first found out Chase was working on his own to exonerate Willow, but the more tumultuous this case gets, and the more the risk of it being blamed on Michael increases, the more Brook Lynn is going to be protective of her family tree.
Likewise, Chase is her husband, and she’s going to feel inclined to protect her marriage if she thinks Chase is opening the door to his past marriage a bit too much. Will the lengths he goes to to protect Willow have Brook Lynn feeling he has gone too far?
GH Spoilers Report This Might Be Nina’s Fault
Last week, we saw Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) make a deal with the devil. Okay, it was Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), but close enough. It seems like these two found a way to do each other a favor, but it only works if they both do their part — and Jack should have been smarter than to take Nina at her word.
Likewise, Nina should have been smarter than to think she could trust Jack. Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) has a WSB detail on her; there’s no way Jack isn’t going to be aware that Nina waved Charlotte off from confiding in her about Valentin.
When he figures out that she didn’t hold up her end of the bargain, will he renege on the heavy lift he performed to keep that traffic cam footage out of court on Willow’s behalf? How likely is it that Chase will figure out Nina and Jack’s role in any of this?
Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures
It sounds like Drew might be bent on pointing the finger of blame at Michael by the end of the week.
The good people of Port Charles could make it through Christmas just in time to see Willow carted back to prison to serve a sentence for trying to kill her own husband.
If Chase thinks that Willow is careening toward a guilty verdict, he might feel inclined to take matters into hands even more than he already has, and that’s probably not going to bode well with his wife if it means risking his career even more.
Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out for Chase — and Willow — by Friday.
