Lulu has been struggling with her son Rocco. While Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) blames his older son Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), his former partner Nathan has only offered help.
The newly reinstated detective made sure that a scared Rocco was settled in juvenile detention; he even rescued him after he was beaten, disregarding his own job security.
Nathan has become a support for Lulu, and they often share deep conversations., and they have grown close since he unexpectedly returned from the dead. Currently, Nathan seems to be the good guy he was before his disappearance, but that might not be true.
There is something darker happening, involving Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud); Lulu may not realize what she is getting into.

Maxie and Lulu have been best friends for a long time; sadly, right after Lulu woke up from her coma, her best friend fell into one. Maxie is unaware that her deceased husband has come back, and it’s strange that he doesn’t appear very sad about his wife.
