Why Is Steve Burton Still On General Hospital?
The actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, came back about a year ago after spending a little time in Salem on Days of Our Lives.
As many of our readers can recall, Steve was initially fired from General Hospital back in 2021 for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate at the time. In fact, both Steve and his former co-star Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jasper Jacks) both lost their jobs because of it.
And while Ingo is still struggling to find work in the entertainment industry, Steve has managed to weather the storm and has found stable work and stable paychecks in the soap opera world. However, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Steve might have already passed his prime with his character, Jason Morgan.
After all, there are only so many ways that the writers of the soap can try and reinvent the character, right? Well, it seems like General Hospital fans just aren’t feeling it anymore. That’s why they are wondering why Jason is even still on the canvas as he hasn’t had a significant storyline in a very long time.
What’s Next For Steve Burton?
Not only that, but a lot of other characters seem to come and go, yet Jason has managed to carve out a spot for himself in this fictional town of Port Charles. And of course, many people simply can’t help but wonder why. Could it be time for him to go already?
So far Steve Burton himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space.
