From Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) passing to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) looming departure, storylines are shifting in different directions due to these casting changes.
Still, the silver lining in all this is that a character is set to return that could really shake things up – changing the face of the canvas, moving forward.

Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently reported that Selina Wu would be returning to the soap during the week of January 13-17. The last time fans saw Wu was in March 2024.
Played by the ever-talented Lydia Look, Ms. Wu first entered storylines in 2015, and the character has been on again and off again in the town’s mob scene, since.
But, what has her returning to Port Charles now, and what kind of implications could she have in storylines?

GH spoilers for the winter hint that Selina will create some drama in the marriage of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr).
Still, with Cody Bell (Josh Bell) recently inquiring about Wu’s whereabouts to her nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), will she be involved in Cody’s new storyline, too? Can she help him multiply his $50,000 into something much more?
Then again, with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse recently exploding, and Michael getting caught in the crossfire, could the mob queen bee have anything to do with this incident? What would prompt her to bomb Sonny’s home?
In addition, as Sonny has also talked about an exit strategy out of the mob, so could he hand over his organization to Ms. Wu? The opportunities for Selina to dive deeper into storylines are endless at this point!
