General Hospital Spoilers: A Lawsuit Against the Hospital Will Be Alexis’ First Big Case Back on the Job?
General Hospital Spoilers report Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was pretty abrupt with Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) right away after losing her daughter, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) so suddenly.
She wants answers as to what caused her young and healthy daughter to go into cardiac arrest during recovery from donating her liver to Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins).
It makes no sense, and although there won’t be any bringing Sam back by unearthing the truth about what happened, the family needs to know to be able to move on.
But rumor has it the hospital will hit a few snags in the process, and it could leave Alexis feeling like she has no choice but to pursue legal action. Is that the case?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lucas is At Fault?
The autopsy report is scheduled to come into Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) hands anytime now. When he learns that the confidence he instilled in Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) by insisting there was no way he could have contributed to Sam’s death was false, he will be beside himself.
How can he break it to Lucas that he may have played a role in his sister’s death? He may not have to if he fudges the results.
But that means the hospital will have to come up with some other explanation, and it may not make sense to Sam’s loved ones who are eagerly waiting for answers as to why she was taken from them so soon.
GH Spoilers Leak Brad Pulls Some Punches
While it’s not impossible that any explanation the hospital comes up with could put them on the chopping block for a lawsuit, it’s more likely that corruption with the results will land them in hot water.
Further, Portia may feel inclined to cover up whatever dirty deed Brad does to protect Lucas, since Brad has dirt on her that would sink her as quickly as the hospital.
Will Portia be strongarmed into conspiring with Brad to keep Sam’s real cause of death under wraps? If so, will Alexis see right through her bureaucratic nonsense?
General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis Goes Hard
Alexis isn’t going to drag her feet on getting to the bottom of what is really going on here. Her healthy daughter should not have died and now she wants an explanation as to why she did.
If the autopsy doesn’t turn up anything that makes sense out of this disaster, she won’t hesitate to file suit against the hospital.
