General Hospital Spoilers: Jack Blasts Anna for Getting Too Close to Jason — and Makes Carly’s Head Spin
General Hospital spoilers suggest WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was clearly digging for more information when he put PCPD Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on the spot and asked for details on her working relationship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
He asked about it because Anna’s trust in Jason signaled to Jack that she must trust him a great deal to have let him be her back-up in Africa.
Unable to hide how she really felt and the kiss that was on her mind, Anna backpedaled and chalked it up to Jason being skilled in arms and defense. But it sounds like Jack didn’t buy her excuses, and it’s quite possible he may know more than he’s letting on about what happened between them in that cell.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jack Jumps In
Jack is playing 5D chess from all accounts that we can see right now. He clearly has an agenda he’s working to get Jason on his team, and he also seems to want to put Anna in a rather compromising position.
Maybe it’s getting back at her for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Perhaps it’s a grudge he’s holding from way back in their WSB training days.
Even so, he could be ticked that she ever arrested him and caused him to spend months in Pentonville before he was miraculously released to head up the Port Charles WSB Station.
Whatever the reason, Jack is about to show his true colors by coming down hard on Anna — and it could expose her developing ties to mob enforcer Jason.
GH Spoilers Say Jason Comes Clean
When Jack points the finger of blame at Anna for compromising her standards in law enforcement and possibly going easy on Jason or his affiliates — ahem, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is likely to take notice.
Certainly, she’s not going to care if Anna takes it easy on Jason, and she already knows they were working together in some capacity before.
But Jack’s claims that there is more than professionalism happening between Anna and Jason are guaranteed to make Carly’s head spin. At that point, we expect Jason will reveal the truth about their kiss to her, and as much as she won’t want it to, it’s going to get under Carly’s skin.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Can’t Hack It
Right now, Carly is coasting along using her friendship with Jack to her every advantage. When she’s in trouble, she runs to him at times instead of Jason — who really doesn’t like that.
Still, it’s unfair to say Jason is jealous; he’s not the type. Rather, he wants Carly as far away from Jack’s clutches as possible because he doesn’t trust him.
Anna confirming that he shouldn’t won’t make it any easier to ignore Carly’s draw to him. However, if Carly takes issue with Jason’s smooch with Anna, will she entertain Jason’s complaints about her and Jack? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
