General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) thought she was going to get away with changing Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood work in order to keep Heather in prison.
As viewers know, Heather was diagnosed with cobalt poisoning, and it was theorized that her diagnosis was the reason that Heather turned into the serial killer known as “The Hook” as well as various other violent crimes she committed.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has taken on Heather’s case and his first action was to have Heather’s blood tested.
General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber could go free!
Ric had Heather’s blood tested to see if the amount of cobalt in her system significantly changed after her faulty replacement hip was switched out.
Portia took the blood sample herself and when the results came back, she altered them in order to make it seem as if the cobalt in her system was unchanged from before the hip replacement.
However, Ric had three other labs run the same test, and they all showed that Heather’s cobalt levels had significantly been reduced. Given that information, Ric has petitioned the court to throw out Heather’s condition.

When Ric told Ava Jerome (Maura West) about the discrepancy with the lab results, she told Ric that it looked like someone at General Hospital may have tampered with Heather’s results on purpose.
It only took a moment for Heather to realize exactly who had motive to keep Heather in prison. Realizing it was Portia, Ava switched gears and told Ric he shouldn’t pursue that angle.
Meanwhile Ava made a beeline for Portia who admitted what she had done. Portia believes that Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) already suspects her of something.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome will decide to frame Brad Cooper
Brad has a past of altering lab work at General Hospital. He’s only back to work there because Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) decided to give him a second chance.
Given his past, Ava might decide the best way to keep the heat off Portia would be to frame Brad. Portia will reluctantly go along with Ava’s plans in order to keep her job as well as her daughter, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) respect. But will their plan be successful or will Brad fight back?
