General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Can’t Ask Jason to Kill Sam — But Someone Else May Step Up to the Plate

General Hospital spoilers tease Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) impending death may be wrapped up in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) need to stay out of prison for the murder of FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington).

If that’s the case, then we have to consider who will pull the trigger on her murder — literally or figuratively because we have no idea how it’s going to happen.

Some speculation has arisen that Sam may drown, but does that mean she will be held underwater until she takes her last breath, or will it come as a complete accident? Will she too be killed on the Q grounds — in the lake perhaps?

Will she be drowned in the Metro Court pool where Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) can clean up the evidence to protect Sonny as Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) struggles to keep a lid on her suspicions about them both?

With so many questions surrounding Sam’s exit, one thing we know for almost certain is that Sonny can’t rely on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to do his bidding this time around. Jason is never going to agree to kill Sam. So who will?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam Sniffs Around

Sam is a private investigator. Despite her concerns that both the field of law enforcement and the industry going up against it are too dangerous for her comfort level, she regularly wades in and out of both of them working to uncover the truth.

This time around is no different. In fact, with her mom slated to go to trial for the murder of a man she didn’t lay a hand on, we can trust that Sam is going to throw all of her resources into proving who actually killed Cates.

When she realizes her hunch about Sonny is true and that she has the means to take him down, she may not live long enough to tell anyone.

GH Spoilers Boast Sonny Handles His Business

It’s possible that Sonny could handle this killing all on his own. He’s done it many times before, and most recently with Cates, though we suspect he desired to be the one who pulled that trigger.

Cates was a sworn enemy for decades and Sonny wanted the thrill of taking him out. Killing Sam will be a much different story.

Rarely do we get to see the mafioso pull the plug on anyone that he actually cares about and doesn’t want to kill, but Sam won’t be into compromising or letting this situation with Alexis ride out on Sonny’s terms. So, will he settle their disagreement on his own?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Makes Good on His Word

In a recent embrace between father and son, we heard Sonny come clean with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about his initial thoughts when Michael stumbled upon him at the Quartermaine boathouse.

Sonny thought Michael would turn him in, but instead, his son picked up the bullet casings and instructed his father to go find Carly and secure an alibi immediately.

It was as though Michael was a pro who had been doing this all of his life, but really, he’d just been watching his father do it. Now, we may find out that the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

Michael clarified to his father that he would always choose family first. So, if Sam seeks to tear the Corinthos family apart by exposing Sonny as Cates’ murderer, will Michael shut her up for good? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
