General Hospital Spoilers: Will Jason’s Warning About Jack Keep Carly From Feeding Into Their Obvious Attraction to One Another?
General Hospital spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was alarmed when he realized Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was still in cahoots with WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Learning that she found out about Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) only because Brennan went out on a limb to help her signaled to Jason that the guy is definitely either into Carly — or working an angle that he hopes to cash in on down the road.
Hesitant to trust any federal agent, he wants Carly to steer clear of him, but something tells us it’s not going to be easy for her to do — especially as she continues to find reasons to need favors from him, or learns he’s the one who got her off the hook with FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington).
General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Heads Out
With tears in her eyes, Carly asked Jason to go to Somalia to track down Lucky and bring him home. With time being of the essence as Lulu Falconeri’s (Alexa Havins) life hangs in the balance, they can’t waste time waiting on law enforcement to consider this a top priority when they don’t have solid proof that Lucky’s life is at risk.
Lulu’s matters far less to the authorities. Jason didn’t need convincing. He would do anything that Carly asks, and yet for some reason, she’s more enamored with Brennan going out of his way to help her right now — even though all he did is make a few phone calls.
That pales in comparison to Jason risking his life for her and yet, here we are. As Jason heads out of the country to bring Lucky home, will it give Brennan the opportunity he’s been seeking to cozy up to Carly?
GH Spoilers Gossip Carly Loves a White Knight
Historically, Carly has a tough time resisting a guy who shows up for her time and time again. Heck, just once is enough to catch her attention. She liked her visits from Brennan at Bobbie’s. Their banter and flirtation didn’t end just because she figured out he was withholding the truth about being a federal agent.
Perhaps it should have, but her barometer for discernment seems to be off with this one; normally she wouldn’t entertain a fed working her for dirt on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
But we have an inkling she’s about to learn what Brennan did for her with Cates, and it could go a long way in opening the door to more than friendship between them.
General Hospital Spoilers — Red Flags All Around
Jason wasn’t keen on Brennan’s job offer. Turning him down was the last he thought he would have to worry about or interact with that guy.
Knowing that Carly is stopping by his office for favors concerns him. Now that he has to leave the country, he won’t be able to keep an eye on this grown woman who can never keep herself out of harm’s way.
