General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Cop Status Gets Sam Killed — and Danny Embraces the Wrong Side of the Law in Retaliation?
General Hospital spoilers spill Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) loves being a cop. Months ago when he was shot in the line of duty, he temporarily considered leaving the force. His concerns about his own safety were amplified by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) admitting that she had felt uneasy about his line of work for a long time but didn’t want to tell him so.
When he marched off to the PCPD to tell Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) he was resigning, Sam felt relief. When he came home still a cop and having changed his mind, she did what she could to put her own feelings aside and support him.
So when his job ends up putting Sam in the line of fire and she pays for it with her life, will he ever forgive himself? Moreover, will it serve as proof to her son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), that protecting himself is more critical than relying on law enforcement to do that job for him?
General Hospital Spoilers — Danny is Already in the Danger Zone
Sam has been worried about Danny for months — since well before Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) ever came back from the alleged dead. As Danny’s behavior became more erratic and he started to seek out activities that provided for that adrenaline rush Sam knows and recognizes so well, she worried he may genetically be far too much like his father.
Jason has always respected Sam’s wishes to keep his distance from their son because he admits his lifestyle is dangerous, but it sounds like Danny is more than ready to embrace that. Will Sam’s death push him over the edge?
GH Spoilers Hint He May Idolize His Father
Danny already thinks the world of Jason. For all his faults and his absence from his life, he craves to know as much about him as he possibly can. When he loses his mother, that desire may only intensify as he realizes that he could lose his father at any time — and it’s even more likely than it was that his mother would die.
At the same time, Danny may start to recognize that even living with a cop didn’t protect Sam. If it is actually Dante’s line of work that ends up to blame for Sam’s death, Danny may double down on that and believe working against law enforcement and taking the law and matters of protection into his own hands is the safer bet.
General Hospital Spoilers — He Will Miss His Mother
We can easily see this spiraling out of control. It’s anyone’s guess how he will deal with his grief after suddenly losing his mom, but we can bet he’s going to be more inclined to lean and spend time with Jason if he feels Dante is at all to blame for Sam’s death. Will Danny start looking up to Jason and seek to be just like him?
If so, will Jason cosign that? Can anyone really stop him? Jason could end up feeling like it’s best if he prepares Danny and takes him under his wing than to let him find that kind of grooming and influence somewhere else. Is he wrong?
