General Hospital Spoilers: Does Sam’s Anger Toward Carly Extend Back to Drew?
General Hospital spoilers claim Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was all about helping Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) get out from under the FBI’s thumb — that is, until she learned why he’s there in the first place.
It’s gotta burn knowing how much Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) means to Jason, and still to this day even being the mother of his child gets Sam very little of the same sympathy and respect.
When she asked Jason to steer clear of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), he didn’t exactly do that. Although it may have stemmed the pain a bit as Sam realized Carly wasn’t aware of why Jason did what he did, that doesn’t change the fact that Carly comes first.
Is that what this is really about — and just how long has she been feeling so bitter about her friend Carly?
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly, Carly, Carly!
The cherry on top of this painful experience was learning that Jason chose to stay away from his children and everyone else who loves him for more than two years just to protect Carly’s best interests.
Why is Carly the center of the universe for every man Sam ever seems to fall for? What kind of magic spell does she cast over these men? She’s a strong and capable woman — most would call her formidable.
She can handle her own, and yet every man around her is always lining up to be her white knight. Sam is sick of it.
GH Spoilers Leak Sam Can’t Take It Anymore
Is this bringing up old memories for Sam that she just can’t stomach? Time after time, she finds herself coming in second to Carly.
Years ago when she was pregnant with Lila Corinthos — the baby with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) she lost late-term — it was clear that Carly meant more to him than she did, even though she had since moved on with Jason.
Fortunately, Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) didn’t have a romance until after his divorce with Sam was long over.
But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t cut Sam to her core that Drew was willing to go to prison and leave his daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), behind so that Carly didn’t have to leave her kids. How much is one mom supposed to take?
General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Questions Everything
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was on board with Sam’s plan when it meant trying to find a legal way to help Jason out. He understands the nuance of having an ex who is still a parent to a shared child.
After all, no one can contest that Dante still loves Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) with all his heart. But as he peels back the layers of what Sam has gotten herself into here, and how bothered she is by Jason’s decision to prioritize Carly over his own kids, will Dante start to wonder whether this has more to do with jealousy over Carly than it does Jason’s poor choice?

[…] Even Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli) recently pointed out during the Daily Drama podcast he hosts with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), one that Jackson was on, that Lucky has been gone for so long that it’s hard for fans to say that the character “would never” do something at this point. Could Lucky return with a new woman on his arm? […]
[…] Eh, probably not, but finding out how little has changed back home could be a real shocker for him. When Lucky rolls into town and sees how his friends and family are doing these days, we may be surprised to find he doesn’t exactly approve of how everyone is living their lives — and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could be at the top of his list.
