General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has recently been promoted to the head of the Pikeman Group after having been working with them for years.
Pikeman has been causing problems In Port Charles for almost two years now. Originally, Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was leading both Pikeman and the WSB simultaneously.
Pikeman had originally reached out to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) to make a deal so that Pikeman could use the docks in Sonny’s territory to bring in illegal weapons. Sonny eventually terminated their deal which led to several attempts on Sonny’s life.
General Hospital – Cyrus Renault knows more than he is saying!
While Sonny was still dealing with Pikeman, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was still in prison. Through his men on the outside, Cyrus wanted information about Pikeman’s shipping dates.
At first glance, it seemed as if Cyrus was using that information to have Sonny arrested for the illegal weapons. But that doesn’t explain how Cyrus even knew that Sonny was working with Pikeman at all.
In addition, Cyrus orchestrated Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) kidnapping in order to blackmail Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) into testifying that Cyrus was too weak to stay in prison.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault is a free man!
Cyrus’ plan worked and he went free from prison and now has a radio show where he has started a new career as a religious leader.
Ever since then he’s spent most of his time trying to get Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to accept him as her brother. But there is something else going on as well.
Austin has planned to bring evidence against Cyrus to the authorities but was gunned down in his own home. Cyrus may not have killed Austin himself, but what if he’s working for Pikeman and they sent someone to get rid of Austin.
General Hospital Spoilers – Is Cyrus Renault connected to Pikeman?
Cyrus was mostly knows as a drug pusher but he wanted Sonny’s territory even before Pikeman came to Port Charles. Perhaps he was trying to get Sonny’s territory in advance of Pikeman needing the docks so that they wouldn’t have to work with Sonny at all.
If Cyrus was just working with Pikeman and not involved with the group himself, he might find himself the next victim of the assassins that killed former crime bosses that have worked with Pikeman in the past.

NOTHING COULD MAKE ME HAPPIER THAN TO PERMANENTLY GET RID OF CYRUS AND NINUTZ
I don’t care for Cyrus, he’s very hard to believe. But, also I feel it makes sense for him to be Pikeman. He’s been a career criminal most of his life he would have the contacts and experience needed to head that sort of organization. But, I also like the him and Laura are starting to bond a little teeny bit so I hope he is reforming so as not to hurt Laura.
