GH Spoilers: Sonny’s Arrest Speeds Up Wedding
The General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny’s arrest could move the wedding up. The user aptly named Tired of Gina came up with the following theory on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Hoping Sonny’s arrest will speed up the wedding date. While I think Sonny set himself up to be arrested, I do hope this speeds up the wedding from Winter to October.”
Fans are hoping that this storyline won’t drag out any longer. Hopefully, it won’t drag out any other storylines as well.
Nina might want to marry Sonny right away, in case he goes to jail. Or, she might want to celebrate their love with an early wedding if he gets away with it.
Some of the GH fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Most agree that this storyline has dragged out far too long.
One user wrote: “Oh boy! I’m with you! This has dragged on much too long. I already know I’ll probably be disappointed in Sonny’s reaction but I just want the story over with.”
Another user responded: “I agree with his story to end already. It would be great if they sped up the wedding, so the SEC secret could finally be revealed. Waiting for so long feels like being held hostage for no real reason.”
General Hospital: Fans Over Sonny’s Storyline
The General Hospital spoilers clearly indicate that fans are tired of Sonny’s storyline. They don’t believe that he can redeem himself at this point.
They can’t wait for the daytime soap to write him off somehow. Maybe he could marry Nina and they can leave Port Charles for good.
One fan suggested another idea. “I personally wish it would speed up his burial date, lol. Sorry…detest him and his nasty fiance!” one fan wrote.
“I wonder how he’s going to exit the show, through death, prison, or move out of PC and appear on the show once in a while. If he stays in prison, maybe he’ll run his mob business from there and appear on screen as needed,” another suggested.

Sonny off the show as it would not be the same. Just end this make believe romance between Nina and Sonny as there is positively no chemistry between them despite how hard Nina tries. Time for the storyline to end
