General Hospital Spoilers: Is This The Beginning Of The End For Vanna, Or Will They Grow Stronger?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at some trouble in paradise for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

They’ve been through it all, from battling her evil twin Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) to the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) drama, the dismay of his father Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), only to grow stronger.

Valentin is clearly hiding something else now, and it has to do with Pikeman. Will this make or break the couple?

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Believes In Valentin Cassadine

Despite constant warnings from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) who has never trusted Valentin, and now Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Anna believes in Valentin.

While she knows he is lying to her about something, she also trusts that he has good intentions. In fact, she believes someone is blackmailing him.

While she is skeptical of Cassadine and what he tells her, she continues to defend his actions.

Should she be this naïve? He is a Cassadine, after all.

GH Spoilers: What If Valentin Is In Deeper With Pikeman Than Everyone Believes?

Valentin successfully evolved from a villain to a hero, and a lot of that had to do with Anna, as well as his relationship with daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Still, this doesn’t mean that staying on the path of righteousness isn’t a slippery slope. After all, Peter August was also a character that was seemingly turning “good”, thanks to his romance with Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) only to turn into a terrible and insane villain.

The same could be said for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and her storyline with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

Valentin is being cornered by someone when it comes to this Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)/Pikeman deal; it seems like this, anyway.

But what if Valentin has deeper roots and connections with Pikeman? He could be “running” the show with someone.

The difference between a villain and a hero is that if both were blackmailed, they may buckle; however, if it means crossing a line and placing anyone in danger, they fold.

If Valentin does anything to jeopardize the well-being of someone close to Anna, or a hero/heroine in Port Charles, he may not be the person fans or Ms. Devane think he is. Then, all bets would be off for the Vanna super couple.
