General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Stifles Ava’s Plans to Move Back to Wyndemere

General Hospital spoilers reveals Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has been feeling very conflicted about her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). We’ve seen the men come and go from Ava’s life over the years, but never has she found the validation and mutual respect in a relationship like that which she has with Nikolas.

For all intents and purposes, he is the greatest love of her life. That being said, it crushed Ava when she found out Nikolas had slept with his son’s girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and Ava is struggling to find a way to move past that. Little does she know, Esme isn’t dead, but is very much alive and living in the north tower of Wyndemere. Ava’s plan to return to the castle will certainly throw a wrench into Nikolas’ plan to keep Esme a secret.

Ava has been hanging out at Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place for weeks. Even Nina has felt their roommate state was getting a little stale, and she recently asked Ava how much longer she thought it might go on. Ava just can’t make up her mind though. One moment, she misses her husband and is willing to overlook his one-time negligence of their vows; the next minute, she’s furious, heartbroken, and out for blood.

But soon, Ava is going to come to the realization that she doesn’t want to be in pain anymore, and she knows Nikolas is the fastest path to healing for her. She’ll head back to Wyndemere to tell him the good news, but she might not take well to his reception.

GH Spoilers Indicate Nikolas Hesitates to Welcome Her

When Ava returns to Wyndemere, she’s expecting her husband will sing her praises. What she doesn’t expect is the downward turn his face takes when she says she’s willing to move back home with him. It will plague Ava as to why Nikolas wouldn’t want her to come back, and she’s not going to back off until she finds a reason. Of course, this will take time. Right now, no one but Nikolas and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) know that they’re cohabitating with one another — if you want to call it that. Of course, that might end soon if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) starts snooping around the manor.

Fortunately for Nikolas, Victor actually did just announce that he’s abruptly moving into Wyndemere. Nik will be able to use Victor’s latest move to his defense, and he will likely tell Ava he doesn’t want her wrapped up in whatever Victor has planned. Will Ava accept this explanation, or might she think there’s more to the story? She has a pretty keen set of instincts, especially when it comes to her husband — who is a notoriously bad liar.
