General Hospital’s Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) was supposedly killed in an accident months ago. Is Luke dead or could this be a ploy to catch his would-be killer?
General Hospital Spoilers – Luke Spencer Was Larger Than Life
General Hospital’s Luke has been a larger-than-life character for some time. Luke first appeared in Port Charles on November 20, 1978. Tony was hired for a 13-week stint originally but that quickly turned into a contract role. Luke was the middle child of Tim Spencer (Tony Geary in flashbacks 2015) and his wife Lena Spencer (Laura Wright in flashbacks 2015). Luke and his siblings were raised in Port Charles but later left town to live with their Aunt Ruby Anderson (Norma Connolly). Luke came back to town in 1978 when Geary took the role. Luke fell in love with Laura Webber (Genie Frances) and ended up raping her one night. Luke and Laura eventually married on November 16, 1981. Luke and Laura’s romance and wedding were credited for saving General Hospital from cancelation at the time. Luke and Laura teamed up with Agent Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to search for the Ice Princess which has suddenly resurfaced and is a huge reason that Luke’s murder was planned.
General Hospital Updates – Luke Spencer’s Second Great Love
Decades after his first appearance in Port Charles Luke met up with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Luke and Tracy were not an ideal match in the eyes of society but the two worked famously together. Luke and Tracy had their ups and downs but in the end, Luke left town after battling DID and realizing he had killed his parents. When Jane decided to retire from acting, Tracy left Port Charles to reunite with the love of her life, Luke. Tracy showed up in Port Charles to announce Luke’s death to the family earlier this year.
Luke Spencer Was Getting Too Close To The Truth
When General Hospital’s Tracy returned to Port Charles in January to inform everyone of Luke’s death, she believed it had been an accident. However, it was later revealed that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had arranged Luke’s murder because he was getting too close to the truth about Victor’s plans for the future involving the Ice Princess. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) later found out that the accident was no accident at all. However, Anna cannot believe that Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier), who was arrested for Luke’s murder, would harm him.
Anna is bothered greatly by the accusations against Jennifer who professes her innocence. However, Anna has not found any evidence to dispute this so far. Will Anna prove Jennifer’s innocence and find Luke’s killer? Could Anna find Luke alive and will if she continues her search?
