General Hospital Spoilers tease that viewers may have been surprised to see Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) often discussed, but rarely seen, middle son Jake Webber (Hudson West) this week on General Hospital. Jake is portrayed by Hudson West. West has been playing Jake since 2016. West has also appeared in many primetime shows including NCIS: Los Angeles and 911 as well as several feature films. Today is his 14th birthday, so happy birthday Hudson!
General Hosptial Spoilers – Jake Webber has already had an eventful life!
Jake is the son of Elizabeth and the late Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’s taken quite an interest in art, just like his mother. At one point, it looked as if he were killed in car accident by Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), but it was all an elaborate scheme concocted by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Helena did brainwash Jake and it was quite a while before Jake was himself again. Jake is quite close to both of his brothers, as well as their mother. So when Elizabeth began dating Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), it took a long time before Jake would accept him as his step-father.

But Franco and Jake eventually bonded, and became very close. Franco helped encourage Jake’s natural artistic tale, and Jake has become quite talented as a result. But tragedy struck twice this year, as both Franco and Jason were murdered by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Jake has had a difficult time dealing with the death of both of his father figures, a situation only made worse when Elizabeth began dating Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
General Hospital Spoilers – Is Jake Webber stalking his own mother?
Recently, it has become apparent that someone is stalking Elizabeth. From moving her wedding ring to tearing up her wedding dress, the stalker seems to want Elizabeth to stop dating Finn, so Franco won’t be forgotten. And while it looked like Franco’s adoptive mother, Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) was the culprit, she was ruled out. Around the same time, Elizabeth found a brand new drawing that Jake had done of Franco? Is it possible Jake is doing this to his own mother? Or is Jake as innocent as Betsy was!
