General Hospital (GH) fans were thrilled when Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) married Michelle Lundstrom, and they enjoyed hearing about their pup Wyatt. And they also loved it when the couple shared recipes and baking tips. But something changed recently.
Rumors Of Problems
Rumors that Steve and Michelle ran into marriage problems arose when he took a hiatus from the ABC daytime show. Those rumors were never proven, but there’s something else that ABC fans might have noticed that could put the rumors to bed.
This week, Michelle updated General Hospital fans about their pup Wyatt. You might recall they got the pup around the time they tied the knot. Last time they updated on the cute fur baby was in March.
The Old and The New
At the time, Michelle shared a photo of Steve Burton lying down and feeding his pooch some treats. Their dog had been to the vet after suffering from some rough luck.
First, Wyatt had “mycoplasma, then giardia and aspiration pneumonia.” And later, he underwent surgery.
The newest Instagram update reminded GH fans that they got Wyatt a little over a year ago. It seems to be a well-loved pooch, and photos showed that the family even took the dog boating with them.
A Notable Change
But it wasn’t the post about the pup that was notable. Rather, it was the change in the Instagram account’s name. If you follow the General Hospital star and his wife, then you probably recall her handle was @themoneymichelle.
What is interesting is that her handle is now @michellelynnburton.
The change certainly doesn’t seem to support speculation that the couple are having problems. Her Amazon profile is still The Money Michelle. However, her old @themoneymichelle handle no longer appears on Instagram.
A Solid Relationship
As for their realtionship, Steve turned up in the comments on the anniversary post for Wyatt. He said, “That’s my dawg! He’s a buddy Wyatt,” which got rewarded by Michelle Lundstrom with a heart emoji.
Other fans just raved about what a cute little doggie they have in their family. And Michelle confirmed that Wyatt is, indeed, a “toy Aussie.”
One follower wrote, “Wyatt is so cute! Doesn’t feel like it’s been a year already!”
Meanwhile, other people couldn’t stop talking about the lovely relationship that Steve Burton and Michelle have together. One person commented, “What a cutie! I just love your lil family! Your love and appreciation for each other SHINES.”
