GH’s Steve Burton Makes 1984 Hit Song A Reality

General Hospital (GH) star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) would have been 14 years old in 1984. At the time, the top Billboard song titled “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner would have been something he probably listened to. Well, his wife, Michelle Lundstrom, probably believes he knew the answer to that. Read on to find out why.
A Gentle Moment
This week, Michelle took to her Instagram and shared a reel of the real-life Jason Morgan lying on the floor. He had some treats and gently fed them to their pup, Wyatt. If you don’t know, back in August, Michelle shared that their pup, Wyatt, a Toy Australian Shepherd, had turned three months old.
Well, Wyatt was the one being fed by Steve, but the doggie wore a ring around his neck. That was explained in the caption, when Michelle told their GH fans “Wyatt is recovering from surgery he is ok.”
Steve Burton’s wife also mentioned:
I’m taking a few days off from filming recipes while he recovers. I’ve got some good ones coming soon. Sending love.

But the notable punchline came when she talked about her husband. The General Hospital star seems to embody everything about love for her. She said, “This kind of love though. God is writing love stories. So blessed he felt I deserved the best one. @1steveburton.”
Who Doesn’t Love A Love Story?
The couple often share their private lives with their fans, and ABC soap viewers can’t get enough of them. Everyone hopes that this is their forever love story.
The original song by The Foreigners included these words in the chorus:
I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me…
Well, it sure seems like Steve Burton showed Michelle Lundstrom what love is. And, in the third verse, it said, “It looks like love has finally found me.” For these two, that certainly seems to have come true.
ABC Fans React In The Comments
In the comments section, many GH fans loved the post. One of them wrote, “You two are so great together.”
Here are a few more respones from the discussion:
- So so sweet.
- AMENNNN sis! GOD bless you both.
- Love this for you.
- Heart bursting!! You both are amazing.
- You guys are too cute!
- This is so sweet. Thanks for sharing it Michelle!!!
In her text overlay, Michelle Lundstrom had also written, “Rich in life because God sent me the sweetest man with a heart of gold to look after us.”
