Annemarie LeBlanc

Annemarie has a BA in Computer Science from McGill University. After Annemarie graduated from McGill University she was hired by Concordia University teaching Introduction to Database Management & Advanced Database practices. Additionally, she taught at Champlain Regional College on the South Shore of Montreal. After 27 years Annemarie decided to stop teaching take on her Little Retirement Project, blogging. In a mere 2-years, she grew her blog to 14 million readers a month.

Annemarie is almost completed her first book about the Daytime Soap world and currently has a multi-book deal with a major publisher.

Amanda Austin

Amanda is a proud mom of her handsome dog named Jack Kerouac. When she’s not Pinteresting new dog food recipes, she enjoys quilting, couponing, and crocheting her cat’s new sweaters. In her spare time, she watches soaps and her new passion is British TV. If you can’t find Amanda online, she’s outside trying to teach Jack Kerouac how to roll over.

Brandon Webster

When I was growing up, I was the only boy in a house full of women. The TV was set to only Soap Operas, I had no other option. Here we are 40 years later and they are not a burden; in fact, I love them! I am a freelance writer, who thoroughly enjoys daytime dramas, especially ABC’s General Hospital. I am obsessed with TV shows – daytime and primetime! I love to speculate about what is going to happen, spoilers and shocking twists are my forte!

Sean O’Brien

After earning a BA in Communications, Sean began his professional career in the Scranton-Wilkes/Barre Red Barons’ front office (the Philadelphia Phillies former Triple-A affiliate). He later worked as a print sports writer. During this millennium – Sean became a state licensed school teacher, the author of the children’s book Maddie: Teaching Tolerance with a Smile, and a credentialed sports columnist. He’s also been a longtime soap opera loyalist.

Joanna Mazewski

Joanna Mazewski is a writer and editor who is happily married with two children and their rescue pup. She first began her career as a PA for one of the original James Bond screenwriters, Kevin McClory. These days she spends her time traveling to all corners of the globe, shopping online and hiding her secret stash of different flavored Kit Kat bars from her kids.

Annabelle Fraser

After earning a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of King’s College School of Journalism in Nova Scotia, Canada Annabelle went on to write for several newspapers. Annabelle currently has 2 books published and is writing her third one. In her spare time, Annabelle is a loyal Daytime Soap fan. She has been writing about soaps for the past 5 years for many publications.

Melinda Marsh

Melinda has a B.Comm from McGill University in Montreal. Melinda has worked as a freelancer offering ghostwriting, coaching, and ghost editing services. Melinda is currently writing a pilot script for a nighttime drama in her spare time. Some of Melinda’s greatest childhood memories were staying home from school and watching daytime television. Milinda decided to take that love of Soaps and now writes about GH, DOOL, Y&R, and B&B.

Penny Lane

Penny hails from Liverpool, England. From her name you can tell her Mom was a huge Beatles Fan. Penny received a BA (Hons) in Journalism from Liverpool’s John Moore University. Penny’s specialty is writing about British Soaps and the Royal Family. Penny scours the internet daily finding all the scoops for Celebrating The Soap readers so they can be up-to-date with the latest news!

Dr. Suzanne L. Davis

Suzanne L. Davis (aka “hellodrdavis”) is a psychologist, author, and blogger. She is a former psychology professor and litigation consultant who now writes full-time. She’s been an avid daytime soaps watcher for years.

Rita Ryan

Rita Ryan has been writing since the age of thirteen, starting with songs and later short plays and articles. In her teenage years, she was known as “Rita Lorraine” and tried to get into the country music recording industry in the 1970s and later the gospel music industry in the 1990s. Now, she concentrates her writing on soap opera spoilers specializing in General Hospital, aspires to write a series of family-friendly mysteries in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries style, and the rest of her time is spent being a grandma to her three grandchildren and cat mama to Mollie & Missie. She is married to her childhood sweetheart whom she rediscovered after 30 years apart.
