Vacations Bring Some Mystery
One thing about Nancy Lee Grahn: she seldom holds back with her opinions, but when she gets a chance to take a break, she likes her privacy.
In the past, GH fans saw her in Japan, and things were nice until she walked out of a shop by mistake, carrying something she hadn’t paid for. Still, it all ended well when she took it back.
Another time she went on vacation with her daughter, Kate, some fans briefly wondered if she had been affected by reports of a tsunami. But that was speculation, partly because she still acts in Port Charles as Alexis Davis.
Where Is Nancy?
Nancy Lee Grahn doesn’t always tag her photos when she travels. And that makes a lot of sense to her fans, because hundreds of people might run up and ask for an autograph, which defeats the point of a peaceful break.
When she went to Canada earlier this year, many people managed to identify her destination. But on Monday this week, armchair detectives identified so many places it became confusing.
The Reel At A Lake
The GH veteran shared an Instagram reel that showed a rainy scene, a lake, and boats. In the reel, fans could hear the rain and the wind blowing. So, it wasn’t perfect weather for an outing. But it didn’t seem to worry Grahn.
In her caption, she wrote, “Living in California, I can’t tell you how much I love this.”
Guessing Where The ABC Star Went
Of course, people immediately started questioning where she might be. Some folks thought she might be in Canada, and others decided it was somewhere in upstate New York. One person wrote, “Looks much like docks in NH on lakes! Peaceful.”
Meanwhile, a GH fan suggested, “Looks like Canandaigua NY!”

Was She At Green Lake?
Was it Green Lake? Three days ago, Nancy Lee Grahn shared a photo of a boat, but this time, she was in it. Again, she didn’t say where she was, and mentioned finishing a book.
However, several fans thought she was at Green Lake. Well, so far, she’s keeping tight-lipped about her break, so nobody really knows. But if she is at Green Lake, then it seems she made a good choice.
The name “Green Lake” appears in several states, including Washington, Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota, making it difficult to know which one fans were referring to.
The most well-known is probably the one in Seattle, Washington. The urban lake is a favorite hangout for outdoor enthusiasts, with a 2.8-mile loop trail that’s perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling.
That said, Wisconsin also has a famous Green Lake. It holds the title of the deepest natural freshwater lake in the state and is home to the surrounding town that shares its name.
For now, Nancy isn’t saying where she spent her vacation, so fans will just have to keep guessing.
