What We Know About Steve & Michelle
Daytime drama fans know that Steve split from his ex, Sheree, and it wasn’t anything to do with an affair with Michelle. In fact, Sheree expected a baby with someone else. With their divorce finalized in ’22, that left the real-life Jason Morgan free to look for love elsewhere.
It was a full two years after that, when Steve and Michelle hard-launched their relationship. That happened in May of 2024, and the first time the couple were seen publicly together came along the following month at the Daytime Emmy Awards.
In January this year, she accepted his proposal to get engaged when they visited Nashville. Then, in May, they tied the knot in Laguna Beach. And, after their honeymoon, they settled into a full and fun life together. But nobody knows where they met, how they met, and when they fell in love.
A Sweet Post About Love
On Monday this week, Michelle Lundstrom took to her Instagram and shared a photo of her and Steve walking along holding hands. Then, in the text overlay, Michelle wrote, “In your 40s, you’ll connect with a special man that lives across the country. It’s important that you go down the long-distance road together.”
Next, in her caption, she just wrote two words: “The Best.” And, she followed it up with hashtags: #blessedwife #longdistancelove #inmy40s and #truelove.
GH Fans Want The Love Story
Lots of comments arrived from General Hospital fans. One person wrote, “I am so happy for you both!! Stevie B needed an East Coast woman in his life.”
