The General Hospital star isn’t a spring chicken, as he was born in 1970. Still, the man who plays the role of Jason Morgan on GH doesn’t look a day over 45.  And, he’s generous because he freely dispenses motivational and useful tips about staying healthy and fit.

Steve Burton likes to remind General Hospital viewers that only they can motivate themselves. While he does a pretty good job in that regard, it’s up to each person to grab the moment and actually do something. Like, start with some simple self-disciple and make a vow. Then stick with it as it helps build self-belief.

Like most people, every year, GH fans make promises that they will do something better. Most New Year resolutions are soon forgotten. But, on Instagram ahead of New Year’s Day, he reminded his ABC fans that everyone struggles to find the time to dedicate themselves to a healthy lifestyle. But is that true?

In his latest reel, Steve Burton talked about how General Hospital fans only need to dedicate “30 minutes a day” to exercise, “prayer, and meditation.” We know it’s “good for us, but we don’t have time. But we have the time to binge-watch Season 2 of Yellowstone!” Ouch!

Steve Burton also said that not taking 30 minutes a day for wellbeing “just doesn’t make sense.” And, it can “literally change your life, but we don’t have time?” After all, we can “sit there and scroll through social media for three hours.”

In his caption, he told his followers:

No more excuses! Time to go. Time to grow. Set a plan for 2025.
