General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) on the ABC daytime soap is taking a break, and it seems that she recently went through a difficult time. Read on for more details.
Taking A Break
It’s that time of the year when the GH stars enjoy their annual holiday party. While they don’t usually break for a long time, obviously the cast gets to enjoy a bit of downtime. Well, Nancy Lee Grahn is one of them and she’s by the seaside.
While she shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday, she didn’t say where she went. Still, ABC fans could see that the place looked restful and beautiful.
In her caption, the real-life Alexis Davis said that she’d been unwell with a “demon virus.” Plus, she had “laryngitis for 5 of those days.” Next, she spoke about “losing loved ones.” Perhaps she meant Tony Geary (Luke Spencer) or Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine).
No Apologies
Well, the GH star makes no apology for taking a break, especially as the headlines recently seem filled with “senseless tragedy.” So, she wrote, “I’m having a moment. Don’t judge me.”
Unsurprisingly, from the comments section, it seems that nobody is judging the General Hospital veteran. One follower wrote, “So sorry for your losses, Nancy. Life seems to be so hard these days. Glad you’re having some quality time away, with your daughter. Take good care of YOU.”

Gettiing Away From It All
Nancy does try and get away from time to time, and generously, she always shares photos of herself. Once she went to Japan with Kate. While she was there, Nancy got really anxious, as by mistake, she walked out of a shop without paying for an item. So, she had to rush back.
Then in August this year, she was in Hawaii when the tsunami threatened. She was okay, despite rumors that she’d died there. So hopefully, nothing stressful happens this time.
