General Hosptial Spoilers: Will Ava Frame Sonny For Murder – Is Agent Cates About To Expire?

General Hospital spoilers tease that FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) is making a lot of enemies in Port Charles. His most recent plan to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) down by using Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) failed miserably.

He’s also been throwing his weight around Port Charles in the hopes that someone will help him put Sonny in prison for good. Little does he know that his plan might be a little too successful. It might even cost him his life.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos wants John Cates stopped for good

Sonny was furious when Cates tries to have Carly convicted for RICOH violations. He had already had Cates beaten once a few months back, but hasn’t don’t anything but make Cates more determined to send Sonny to prison.

Everything came to a head in the outside the courtroom before Carly’s arraignment. Cates baited Sonny until he almost hit the man himself.

But luckily, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was there to hold Sonny back before Cates could have him arrested for assault. But Sonny continues to grow angrier every day.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome wants to take Sonny Corinthos down

Months ago, Ava Jerome (Maura West) stumbled upon the fact that someone had altered Sonny’s bi-polar medication so that he was only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.

For weeks, Ava kept quiet as Sonny slowly began to unravel. But when Sonny decided to fight Ava for sole custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola); Ava decided to blackmail Sonny’s pharmacist to completely replace Sonny’s medication with placebos.

Her plan was to have Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) provoke Sonny’s in court and watch as he goes off the rails in front of the judge. But recently, she also confided the truth to Cates about Sonny’s meds.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome is capable of murder

With Sonny spiraling out of control now, Ava may alter her plans. If she realizes that Sonny is angry enough with Cates to want him dead, she may take matters into her own hands.

Cates has offered Ava his support in her custody battle but Ava is loyal only to herself in the end. There is every possibility that if Sonny fails to kill Cates, then she will finish the job and make sure authorities believe that Sonny is the killer.

Ava once murdered Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward) so she is quite capable of murder. John may not live to regret trusting Ava!
