General Hospital Spoilers: Sam’s Funeral Brings On The Waterworks
Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) friends and loved ones gather at church to say farewell to a longtime Port Charles heroine who died way too soon.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) says her own goodbye to Sam before the service begins, explaining she chose yellow flowers because they reminded her of the dress Sam wore to Brook Lyn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.
When Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) sees Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), he lashes out at his uncle because he believes Lucas is responsible for his mother’s death.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) rally around their mother as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) deals with burying her first-born child. It doesn’t help matters when Alexis faces off with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)
Later in the week, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Danny have a heart-to-heart talk while Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) gets alarming news. Does she learn the results of Sam’s autopsy? Will we know what really caused a heart attack in a young and healthy woman?
Lulu Wakes
Just as poor Sam is buried, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) finally emerges from her four-year coma. It’s the miracle that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been waiting for. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) also wanted this in the worst way, but it’s bittersweet that it happens on the day of Sam’s funeral.
Will Lulu’s newfound woke status prompt Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to stay in Port Charles? Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) also does his best to make sure Lucky sticks around.
Other Port Charles Happenings
Not only do we have Sam’s funeral and Lulu’s awakening, but PC also prepares for Ava Jerome’s trial. Molly finds herself delivering bad news to Kristina while Dante and Kristina want justice.
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) tries to redeem himself and get on Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) good side. And finally, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) step up for Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
