General Hospital Weekly Spoilers: Laura In The Hot Seat and Political Aspirations

General Hospital weekly spoilers for July 8-12, 2024, tease Laura possibly coming to her senses and Drew’s new career coming into focus.

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Must Face The Music

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) still has a bone to pick with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). The mayor seems determined to be a champion for Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Portia can’t believe that nobody has been able to get through to her. Portia confronts Laura again and has some harsh words for her.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia also argue. She is shocked to learn that her husband went to visit Heather in Pentonville. What was he thinking? He even saw Heather express remorse, but that doesn’t mean anything to Portia.

By the end of the week, it looks like Laura considers things because she asks to hear more of Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) point of view. Will Trina finally be completely honest with Laura?

Drew’s Big Campaign

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is now Drew Quartermaine and determined to win a seat in the House of Representatives. He launches his campaign in the Q mansion with his family around hm, but they are shocked when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) suddenly arrives.

Does Drew have some surprising news for them? Even Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) finds herself throwing caution to the wind, much to the chagrin of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Perhaps Willow does something nobody ever expected that will cause her to be mortified for the rest of her life. Maybe she just shows her true self.

Other Port Charles Happenings

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have it out once again. Will it go well this time? Later in the week, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has an update on Jake Webber (Hudson West).

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) wants to be there to support Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) but it’s easier said than done as the fallout from the leaked recording continues.

Finally, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) makes a confession. Is it time to tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) that they are father and son? Is this the something scandalous that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) witnesses?

Tune into General Hospital weekdays on ABC to see how these stories play out.
