General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of August 31-September 4 indicate that viewers can expect some doomed storylines alongside some underhanded actions.

Fans of GH will also witness some disturbing scenarios, so let’s dive into what’s coming up on the ABC soap.

Carly Seeks Valentin’s Help, Hudson’s Determined To Undermine Josslyn

To begin with, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might seek Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) assistance in monitoring Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Even though Josslyn has chosen to take on the CEO role at Jasper Jacks (formerly Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises, Carly may have a feeling that more WSB threats are on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) is determined to undermine Josslyn and ensure she turns down the job.

Hudson has already made a phone call, promising to change Josslyn’s mind about accepting the position, but to what lengths will he go? Nevertheless, Josslyn is a trained WSB agent and has been instructed to embrace this role for her upcoming mission.

Sonny’s Promise To Laura, Sidwell Complicates Matters For Curtis

This indicates that Josslyn is determined to hold her position regardless of the challenges Hudson presents, potentially putting him in a tough spot. Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will strive to honor his promise to Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

While Laura is away, Sonny might ensure the safety of their loved ones, especially if Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) attempts to stir trouble from prison. At Pentonville, Sidwell will complicate matters for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as his new cellmate.

Curtis could find himself in serious jeopardy due to Sidwell in the future, although for now, Jenz may just be a nuisance.

Ava And Drew’s Plot Against Brennan

That being said, Curtis will need to remain vigilant regarding Sidwell and any potential threats or alliance proposals he might present.

As for Ava Jerome (Maura West), it seems she might try to drug Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) to keep him out of his hotel room while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) conducts a search. Drew is likely looking for the leverage that Brennan has over him.

However, there’s no certainty that Brennan will fall for this trap. Ava might struggle to get Brennan to drink the drugged beverage and could worry that he’ll catch Drew in the act.

Drew Encounters Obstacles, Trina’s Stalker Drama

Regardless of the situation, Drew is bound to encounter obstacles in his role in the upcoming mission; will he be caught by Brennan, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), or someone else? Meanwhile, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) stalker continues to keep an eye on her and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).

With the stalker intent on eliminating Trina’s boyfriend, Kai could be in serious danger. If Kai ends up hurt or worse, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) might find herself blamed, which would be ironic given her history of evading justice! For now, the stalker remains vigilant and scheming, so stay tuned for any dangerous developments.
