General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Health Takes a Turn for the Worst — Can a Donor Still Save Her?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is recovering slowly from the C-section she underwent recently to deliver her premature daughter. It was necessary to bring the baby earthside early so that there was ample time to see Willow through more rounds of chemotherapy before doing a stem cell transplant provided by her placenta and the baby’s umbilical cord.

Unfortunately, the hope that everyone has that this is going to turn out for the best is about to dwindle considerably when Willow’s team of doctors relay that the stem cells harvested from the placenta and umbilical cord cannot be used for a transplant because they were compromised in some way. Willow’s family is going to prepare for the worst while holding out hope for a bone marrow donor that may never come.

General Hospital Spoilers — Willow’s Health is Declining

When Willow receives the news that she cannot be a recipient of the stem cell transplant, she will be devastated. She’s only just met her baby girl, Amelia Grace (Nathan and Owen Ford), and now her doctors are telling her she will very likely have to leave her behind. Willow is going to feel defeated, having tried to beat all of the odds to stick around for her kids only to be left with disappointment after disappointment when it has come to the treatment of her Stage IV Leukemia.

GH Spoilers Tease Michael Receives a Letter

When a mystery person contacts Michael with a special message, he’s not going to know what to make of it. At the same time, his mother — Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) — and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be facing charges for insider trading, and it may lead him to suspect this mystery person reaching out is toying with him about that.

However, when the messages he receives point to a person from his past and their connection to Willow, he’s going to struggle to believe what’s happening. All signs will point to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) being alive, but how is that possible?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nelle Can Save Willow’s Life

Is it just wishful thinking that of all times, Michael would think Nelle is alive now? He needs someone to save Willow, and her twin sister would likely have been the most probable match. Once upon a time, it was Nelle’s kidney that saved Michael’s little sister, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), but that wasn’t something Nelle consented to. So it’s not like she’s the giving kind that would show up for her sister even if she was still around — unless it would benefit her in some way. Might Nelle be back from the grave and trying to negotiate her way back into Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life by promising to save Willow’s? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.

  • Hard to believe that Nelle is alive but she wouldn't be the first presumed-but-not-really-dead Port Charles resident (not by a long shot LOL!) and sure won't be the last! I still think that somehow Liesl is going to be the bone marrow match.
